ABOUT US

Operating since 1991, we started with only one product, a liquid form of probiotics namely BIOremFERMENT.

Probiotics is the umbrella term for friendly bacteria in your gastrointestinal tract. For many years we supplied the only probiotic available in South Africa. This gave us the opportunity to learn and teach our customers about the importance of probiotics in the human digestive system.

Probiotics in a liquid form, ensures that the friendly bacteria inside the product is easier absorbed from the mouth to the colon. This liquid form also ensures easier administration for older people, babies and AIDS patients who may have difficulty swallowing tablets.

Over time, Albiofa introduced a few more products to the health market, such as an antioxidant capsule and balm combination called BIOremCYDIN and Bio Balm.

The latest addition to the range is Terapeutico, an ointment with benefits emanating from the combination of probiotics and antioxidants and a must for any skin condition.

The original product was developed by Mr. Nico Groenewald and Professor Wilhelm Holzapfel. Refinement was achieved by Professor P.L. Steyn.
